There are some very wonderful blue colors mixed with a little gold/hazel, but for me the use of the flash was not a good idea. It takes away the interesting textures and shadow formed by natural light. This eyeball also takes up far too much of the image percentage wise. It almost creeps me out, looking at. <5>

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm quite sure that there is a special beauty in this image based on the closeness of these two children, but...for me, this image lacks real interest. There are some nice qualities about the photo, such as the wonderful range of gray tones, and the contrast, and even the movement diagonally across the page, but as far as "beauty" is concerned, I fail to see how it applies to this image as an image standing on it's own merit, and without know the people in the photo. <5>
