The final daisy of summerby DCrest01Comment: While I like the composition, I think the green is a bit overwhelming without enough contrast. Perhaps if the yellow was much more prevalent it would add a bit more punch. |

Giraffe - CLOSE upby TammsterComment: I've actually been to LCS fairly recently and got to shoot these guys (with the camera!).
I agree that your edit image looks better with the enhanced orange of the fur. These animals are so cool and friendly. |

Day4.jpgby totaldisComment: Originally posted by Jac: Strange placement of his legs. An unusual pose for a spider. Great shot. |
I was actually taking pictures of this guy's backside. Once he noticed me he turned around and got in this stance like he was going to jump on me. It actually scared me a bit so this was one of the few photos I was able to take before I ran away. |

Day3.jpgby totaldisComment: Originally posted by Jac: Nice colours in his legs. Was he moving in the wind while you took this? He doesn't seem to be on the web, maybe he's dangling from another web? |
He's on the web, his legs were just a little longer than they look in the photo. |

Lily-closeby TammsterComment: Nice shot, I think I would have rather seen the petals in focus more so then just the tip of the flower. Great focus either way. |

Day2.jpgby totaldisComment: Originally posted by Tlemetry: I haven't seen this one either, I also can't find its identification. Rare unknown specimen?
That would be cool!
I really like its coloring. |
Can't be that rare, they are everywhere in South Florida... You just have to be stop moving and look for them.
They are no more than 1/4 inch to give you some perspective. |

Day1.jpgby totaldisComment: Originally posted by aliqui: Tlemetry made an interesting observation about the lighting you chose and the lighting already on the label. It makes the aloe pop out. That's pretty cool. |
If I had the forethought of making the shadow match the actual shadow I would have probably diffused the actual shadow a bit to match the fake.
Nice catch! It didn't even occur to me until I saw Tlemetry's post. |

3 Life Cycleby karmatComment: wow great shot, even though it's a pretty harmless subject the overall image appears chaotic (but in a good way) |
