Blue Heron at Sunsetby ErikVComment: Nicely framed. Would have preferred this in colour as colour images similar to this have historically scored well. Nonetheless a well captured image. Good Luck. 6. |

Herring Cove Sunsetby PGerstComment: I saw the thumbnail and got excited, however the full image is a little disappointing. Would have preferred no people of one (the child) or maybe two (i.e. a couple). The image seems grainy and the processing is bleaching sections of the sky. If there was not people, I may have lowered the horizon a little more to capture additonal sky. The B&W border is not necessary when you are trying to emphasize the rich yellows and oranges IMO. Good Luck. 6. |

Hands Up!by ButterflyGirlComment: Nice and creative...Well done. Image is nice and crisp and great detail on the eye. There are some hot spots on the body but tough not to happen in direct sunlight. Good Luck. 7. |

Blueberries, Pikes Market Seattleby woolbr8stlComment: Definitely not going to work in this challenge...Sorry. The composition should really have greater depth (F9 or greater). Need the entire image in focus. Good Luck. 3. |

Badlands National Parkby NstiG8trComment: One of the better landscapes with respect to focus. Thank you for not destroying the image with overprocessing. Nice use of thirds betwen the sky, mountains and field. Good Luck. 7. |

Sunbeams over the Alpsby birkinComment: With your title emphasizing the Alps, its a shame that they are so hazy and faint in the image. The rays of light are nice, but the lack of detail in the Alps is a little disappointing. Like the framing in the foreground, however may have preferred the position of the sun to maybe be a little more visible rather than behind the tree. Good Luck. 5. |

Sunset Stroll on a Wintry Beachby glad2badadComment: Understand that you probably included the fence to convey the winter feel and isolation of a closed beach...unforetunately it ruins a nicely captured image IMO. As for the burning in the sky...don't mind the bottom half, but that one dark patch above the main clouds is too distracting. Great potential. Good Luck. 6. |

Mean ruzby Aurel78Comment: Like the overprocessing (which looks like it was done on purpose, compared to other images that have ruined their result). Great use of thirds and mythical feel. Well Done. Good Luck. 8. |
