Lonely Treeby Tap10Comment: Whatever is below the hill or out of the frame, I really like this piece of world. I think it's also a great candidate for b/w. (no vote) |

Chapel of Loveby SDWComment: I like how you've brought out the texture of the wooden facade. The sky I don't like as much though. Maybe if it was more evenly darkened.

Charissaby lovethelightComment: There's a renaissance style of Vermeer/Rembrandt in this. It's as if she's standing next to a window, and partly the catchlights give it away that it's not so. I've a read tip somewhere where dark masking tape is placed on the lightbox to create an illusion of a window being reflected in the eye(s). An excellent shot. Lovely skin tones and the extra whiff of color from the scarf balances it all out. (no vote) |

The Meltby BoriegaComment: One of my favorite abstract shots I've seen thus far. The melt sure added a very cool touch to the composition.

Mountain Morningby Len ScapComment: I like the warmth to the greenery but perhaps it needed a touch less of that in the mountains. The details are excellent and the composition really good. The bright yellow parts in the sky doesn't seem to work well though. Perhaps a try at masking the blown out sky some other way? maybe cloning out the little bits and just darkening the rest. Not sure if cloning out the big ones would be legal in advanced editing, could be though.(no vote) |

50th Anniversaryby dtremainComment: Looks like the ole couple still has the lively and fun mischief in them. I think you've captured that nicely. (no vote) |

Uncia unciaby Ecce_SignumComment: That's super fierce :)
I like the point of focus. The bottom part blurred , with the upper sharpness bringing more focus on those fierce eyes and yet we have some sharp fangs there too to view.

spiderbugby ShazbutComment: Great job catching the spider at work. Poor little hoverfly probably didn't what hit it. Technically just slightly overexposed. If the brightspots on the spiders abdoment where a product of PP then this is really worth a re-edit to make it shine even more because it's a great shot. (no vote) |

Tack Sharpby MontereykiddoComment: I don't remember who shot it, but I do remember this shot. Still as pondering to me as ever. I do like that and the dynamics of the shot.

Lampropelitis alterna by ArpeggioAngelComment: A very nicely composed shot. And as they say, Red, Black, you're ok Jack. ;)
It's sharp where it matters, maybe needed a little extra selective sharpening on the orange section at the start of the head. Just to bring out more texture.
