Nexen Buildingby CitadelComment: Very nicely composed and toned. My only nitpick is that it looks oversharpened. There are a number of techniques, one that I think would be nice here is where you resize down to twice the size of the intended websized resolution, sharpen up twice and then apply the final resize. Some people call it Adamus sharpening. |

Sunriseby JeanComment: Love the low perspective. So cool to see the giant clouds on the horizon and the beautiful colors up top. Great shot overall. An easy fave. |

Whispersby karenkComment: Wonderful capture of the soft interaction of Mom and baby. I would've only darkened the shadows a bit more, enough so that the background goes black. I reckon it would still fit the advanced editing rules as the background is already so dark(if it was so orginally). Hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong. |

Pairby UrfaKComment: I quite enjoy these sorta shots. The tones are rich and the texture of the petals really pop. Working with the shallow DOF, I also think the point of focus also works really well. Some might say it's too centered but it doesn't detract much if any. |

Barn Owlby Ja-9Comment: Congrats on the spot on exposure. It's tricky with the white feathers. You kept the little subtle details. The composition works too. It's a good shot but only wish it did not have the jagged sharpening effects. Looks as if there was some slight motion blur and you tried to compensate by oversharpening. This might look better in print though :) |

R u t hby phloverComment: Good job with the lighting and color. The background is also nicely suited to the shot. It all works, except that I'm not a big fan of smoothing out the skin that much. But overall if the client is pleased, what can I say ;) |

Simple pleasureby GabrielComment: Awesome. Now I need to go make some!
I like the rustic feel to the shot. All elements nicely placed though the cinnamon sticks in the back look a bit out place, sticking out from the brownie and OOF like that. I think it's a nice idea to include them in the shot but perhaps in a different composition. |

Money in the waterby hesperiaComment: You did a nice job with the lighting. Would only suggest a crop that takes off the empty side on the left. Would really put focus on the details and cool effects of the money dropping into the water. |

Just a momentby MelethiaComment: I really like this shot. I like the captured moment, the almost silhouette look, and the toning too. Would only suggest a crop, taking out the piece of reflective wet surface on the bottom of the shot and perhaps a bit off the sides if you want to keep the aspect ratio. |
