Without reading the title , this reminded me of a bird's beak.

This image has very good lighting. Perhaps going a bit further to add some highlights to the knife because seeing only the banana reflection alone is somewhat strange at first glance. I do see some the handle reflection though, but it's not easy to see it.

A really nice shot overall but with the focus as such, I think it takes away from the abstract feel of it. Would've been more abstract in shape without the spoon as such, maybe if there where spoons coming out/in of the four corners. Perhaps then the symmetry would've helped this become more akin to the challenge? great shot though.
