Cool idea! wondering why more folks didnt try the puzzle link. I shoulda, but wanted to try a chain LOL. Back to your shot...Nice spot lighting, but dont particularly like the textured background, would've liked smooth for this one.

oh yeah! Missing keys LOL. A nerdy take on the theme. Very different and I like it. I've been there and well a pen or pencil comes in handy.
Only some places look overexposed. Tricky exposure with the white backdrop. And dude! clone out that Dell ;)

A great looking shot. The lady wearing black nail polish and all black hat and shirt, so what about dark pants or skirt? because with the rest of the shot having fairly dark colors that bright spot is a little distracting. Great job with the lighting and PP. I'm trying to think for a missing link , but I only see a cool lady Capone 8)
Will be coming back to this one , to find the missing link.

Splendid shot for the challenge. The water being the missing link to the ocean, very clever ;)
Only nitpick is the color of the sky, looks too purplish. Some selective color tweaking or hue/sat adjustments for the blue/cyans could easily fix that.

mmm yummm. Congratulations on placing in the top10. Fun idea and a fun presentation. Cool pairing with the red painted nail polish and green background. Only one nitpick, wondering why the soup isn't filled to the corners of the bottom of the bowl(another cool touch with its other than round shape).

Also, thinking about it some more. Another version would be...It's great that it looks like the soup is coming away from the edges, like there's not much soup left and all the noodles are gone. Maybe, just if the empty corners didn't look so clean.

One of my favorite concept shots. When I first saw this I thought the last 4 where printouts of a shot and the first few where real and you may have blurred the shadows a bit to make them look smoother on paper. Always fun to try and figure out the making of, of a shot. The final result is what counts.
