With the title as such I see the portal as the missing link so I see the link in the shot. I do like the idea a whole lot and will come back to think about this one more.

edit: Well the missing link could be the person or whatever placed the portals there. Btw, cool wig and congrats and getting this shot in public LOL. Did you get on lookers?

Nice colors. Her eyes and shirt color match nicely. Do think the right side of the photo could've used some light fill, from a reflector , simply a white board or piece of paper.

It's perfect. I'm glad you entered the photo. Placing in the top20 I'm sure you are too ;) I'm not afraid of heights but the atmosphere of this shot can easily be found in a not so pleasant dream. Can also be seen as concept for "A rocky road downhill from here..." . I'm sure many can relate to that. Btw, it's a +fave.

A beautiful capture. From the purple flowers, green stems, to the golden background, the colors work wonderfully well together. Great job with the composition , DOF and focus, getting those two buds perfectly sharp like that with a nice blur of the background and foreground.
