Turbulentby KenComment: Cool composition. A shot after my own heart. The sea and sunset, color and atmosphere look very familiar to me. The shot looks perfectly processed. So natural looking and appealing. |

Out of Darkness, Light (Natural)by namastedcComment: Very pretty radiant pink and yellow, and nice control of the DOF. Only nitpick would be to clone out those few specks near the bottom left hand corner of the frame. |

fallby sigrun_thComment: I like the subtle green color of the waterfall. It works well with the mostly monochrome look of the shot. |

Kiss the Sunby smellyfish1002Comment: An amazing back lit shot. The drama and dark shadows work well. The kiss of the sun and hot air ballon is what makes this special. Congrats on this fine capture. |

Permanently Docked - USS New Jerseyby KelliComment: A very nicely composed shot. I really like that you took the shot during sunset. Love the mood here. We normally see these views during a the bright daylight hours and I like your take on it. |

Waterlilyby h2Comment: The lilly flower looks a little too bright in some spots but it's a very nice eye pleasing shot. Impressionism came to mind when first viewing it, especially with the recent challenge. Would've been perfect for that challenge. |

It's A Big World Out Thereby TechoComment: Yep, that's the dude or gal. Haven't identified which kind it is, yet. :)
There are these kinds which have a green upper body, yellow mid portion and a blue tipped tail. That would be cool to find.
Edited to add: This seems to be a male. Latin name: Enallagma cyathigerum Message edited by author 2007-09-13 19:41:21. |
