Colors are good and the framing looks nice. I am going to break with the crowd and say I'm not fond of the composition. Looks like you could cut the photo exactly in half and have 2 decent, but different shots though. Maybe if the kayaker was coming towards me or more parallel with the horizon or closer. I dunno. Just seems like the main theme is the sand & surf and the kayaker distracts.

Don't know if that helps or not, but there it is. :)
