Nice composition and the lighting and post-proc looks good. Only thing on this one is the expression on the little girls face is not great and the woman's head cast a shadow on the guy's face.

Off to check the others (this was the first I looked at)

Sam, Sam, Sam. What were you thinking? This photo would definitely have done better in the Wide Angle challenge than the one you submitted (I remembered it when you posted it in the forum). In fact a lot better. It's not altogether compelling - I mean no specific subject in the shot, but has good elements in it and nice color, lighting and composition.

Good luck - keep on trying. :)

Here's my two cents: It could use some more contrast. I would try NI again and keep messing with the settings til you reduce the noise enough to where you like it. As far as posing / framing, there is an awful lot of skin at the bottom of the frame, makes her appear larger than she probably is. If her right arm was moved more in front of her or straight down, you would have some black background behind her arm, which seems like it would be more slimming. Lighting could be softer or more diffused also.

Lots of words for a neophyte, huh? Hope it was helpful.
