The concept is great, but the pattern created doesn't quite make the grade. Very difficult to do, so cheers for the effort. Overall it's still a likeable image.

At first glance, I might have dismissed it as a bad, blurry, blown out image of a cat. Beyond the first glance though, the focal point on the face does grab my attention and suddenly the image comes to life. Great job! I'm not fond of the thick border. A simpler thin border using one of the medium tones from the cat's fur might work better, IMO. Best of luck! :)
