The tones and contrast are really good, but the composition does not give the context that the title implies. She could be writing a complaint letter to the department of motor vehicles. ;-) Like Sheryll said, it would be better to see the drawing and the can really should go ...unless that really is what she's drawing. :)

Three Goats

Are these the infamous Billy Goats Gruff? ...or are they the famously entertaining "fainting" goats? If I hadn't read your notes I would have said the truck in the background is annoying, but since you liked it, I won't mention that. :) I do think the image would be better if the 3 goats were more isolated - as it is, the sum of all the distracting background elements compete heavily with the subjects. The focus and DoF is good though.
