Silent Movie Nerdby massmediakid31Comment: I love that crop. really edgy... super processing. Leaves enough detail to give it a different feel than just made up... |

Pounceby elsapoComment: This is great. Reminds me of that other shot with the lion pouncing in Best of 2005... I don't really care much for the border... Did you try to match the tiger's coloring in the border with some black instead of white to complement and help it pop even more?
Just an idea... |

Speak no evilby amandaloreComment: Great stuff with the eyes.
Bit of a dark spot on the head from lighting...
Did you start with your lights at 90 degrees or 120 degrees angle from each other? Maybe they need to be a tiny bit higher... ?
Lighting can be really tough.
I think you are definitely starting to move beyond "coming along nicely" now...
Nice to shoot someone else for a change isn't it?
A nitpick would be in the strange soft appearance of the eyes. A bit of sharpening or something might give them a bit more snap... maybe. I'd try a fairly wide radius with some strong amounts masked just to the eyes on a separate layer and maybe in darken mode and play with the opacity... Just a guess. |

Pepper Magicby javamooseComment: I think this looks great because of the lighting. It creates the illusion that they are vertical, not horizontal.
Good job! |

rapid citridationby shoelessajComment: Concept wise, this is probably my fave from the challenge.
Certainly merits a fave overall.
A little nitpick would be the low saturation and contrast. I would prefer to see the orange a bit more like the natural color of an orange of that type. Likewise, I would like to see a bit more of that shadowing. I wonder if it might be possible to emphasize the shadow/light from the flame light and bring up the sat just a hair on the orange itself. |

bali05.jpgby librodoComment: Super colors and fantastic field of view. The depth just sucks you in to this one...
As a side note, is that guy taking a leak on the right side there? |
