Mack The Knifeby Dr.ConfuserComment: absolutely priceless.
One thing that might make this really surreal is extracting the BG, blurring it to heck, then adding heavy NeatImage to the knives and figurine... It's already bordering heavily on a 'trompe d'oeil' and I like it! |

The Last Goodbye by cutlassdude70Comment: would still like to see a bit of info on any possible followthrough for this one... especially any possible reaction from your local authorities if you had a word with them about the situation... might pave the road a bit for the next time you have an issue... might even net a business card too... There's nothing like having a cop's business card in your wallet when buddy security guard starts pestering you about your artistic photography. |

Unable to Contain it!by TlemetryComment: also try working the curves to remove that color cast... tutorial in tutorials section. blue channel is opposite to yellow, so push the blues and reds channel is opposite to Cyan... Play with the red/cyan after tweaking the blue/yellow. |

Xiao Yue - Means Beautifulby ElliottjmsComment: just had a thought. I wonder if you were to put a couple layers of sharpening on this quite strongly, but use the layers just to push the contrast at the edges of things... the result would be that you would get a bit more of a 'soft focus' look (kind of looking like a layer of haze over an image that is sharp...)...
just an idea. set the layer mode of one to darken and the other to lighten and play with radius and opacity on each layer... see what comes of it. |
