Why Did I Agree To This?by klbensonskComment: sweet shot. did this with my sister and some friends a few weeks back... nothing anywhere near this wild, but still lots of fun.
I like how the front of the boat is not visible, so you can't see how long it is... makes it look like the boat is going down a bottomless hole and will be swallowed up forever... tee hee..

Sageby escapetoozComment: Pretty nifty idea here. I took the liberty of mucking with it a bit.

Lily Lanternby WeatherGurlComment: What a great way to highlight the other side of painting with light... playing with shadows... love the multiplicity in the characteristics of the shadows here. some are soft, others are hard... very interesting to the eye. |

Le Vent - The Windby xianartComment: I wonder if using a UV filter carefully might give you a way to help control the dust?
Quite a nice effect. I wonder if there has been posted any information regarding how to build a pinhole like this. (specifically where to put the hole, how big... |

Floatingby mian3010Comment: nicely done. hard to pull color from some frogs. Nice balance of light/dark and an effective border as well.

The Temptationby toddheadComment: That is an extraordinary picture. The use of softness is one thing, but the use of lighting to work on shadows is what really brings beauty to this... I wish I could fave this.
Made me go and grab my camera and show it the pic. makes me want to go out and get a beautiful wife more... :) |

~ L O V E ~by gocComment: excellent. The rose looks a little more imperfect than what one would expect for a not-quite perfect rose, leading one to believe that there is more intent in the choice than just unavailability of a better specimen...
The lighting is fantastic, as is the depth of field. This all leads me to confirm my belief that the rose is not meant to be perfect, but rather a little 'rough around the edges'. |
