Within this challenge this is certainly an original photograph.
Just 2 small details I would like to mention:
when looking at it, I feel the urge to move up the veil a bit so that both eyes are a bit more uncovered. At the same time I would fold the stitched border so that it's not visible.
I know: I'm nitpicking on some really small details.
Well done.

The blue of the water creates a very nice background. Maybe elevating the ring a bit more out of the water? I like the original approach and I believe this should have ended up higher.

The cable of the break in te front get's too much undeserved attention. What I do like very much is the DOF. Just maybe a little less DOD to have the Cat Eye completely in focus from front till end.
