Nice shot, but I feel the lighting is a bit harsh. Try diffusing the light to avoid such bright spots on the pills.

The B&W and contrast are spot on. I would have used a slightly wider DoF to the that sticking up bit above the 75 in focus though.

Really good idea and a great overall result. The high key lighting works very well and so does the centered composition in this case.

More contrast would improve this shot in my opinion. It looks a little flat at the moment. Try rotating it for a more dramatic angle too :)

This would work well in the impressionism challenge I think, it's a very nice capture with good pastel colours. The only thing I don't like is the black bar in the top right. Can you recompose to avoid that?

I think with a longer exposure it would have made the background more high key and improved the overall effect of the photo.

Very nice detail in this. I think the crop is a bit cliché though, and you could have tried something a bit different like new angles and DoF and stuff.
