This is a good shot but the red background looks a bit washed out. How does this look in B&W?

Comment:
The drops don't really show up very well for some reason, try using different lighting. The primary colours are effective though :)

Comment:
USM would stop this looking so soft, but altho the title points to the whiskers, in my opinion there is no focal point. If we could see an eye or something it would be better.

This would look much better in high-contrast B&W but what it really needs in my opinion is a focal point.

Did you zoom in during exposure? It looks pretty effective :)

I'm not really a fan of photos of figurines, but the lighting from behind the train in this shot is effective.

The repetition in this shot is good. I would have used an even shallow DoF so that the background was less distracting.

Boosting contrast and making this black and white would disguise the obvious flaws here: (1) The coloured noise would be more like acceptable B&W grain. (2) The flat lighting would be strong contrast B&W lighting. Give it a try :)

This isn't a macro or a closeup... unless the plain is about 1cm long.

I think the crop is a bit thin. Seeing the pens go back further with white space at the top to match the bottom would look good I think.
