Strawsby angiedlComment: The repetition and colours here are nice, but I feel there needs to be a focal point, like one of the straws being bright white or something like that. |

Simplicityby ArtanComment: With some extra contrast and stronger lighting this would be a really nice photo. Also, try applying USM to make it just a bit sharper. |

Intricacyby amsmythComment: Good detail captured here, but there is no real focal point to rest my eyes on. |

Smoke... anyone?by turcrazeComment: The whole photo is out of focus, and also it looks like the wrong white balance was used as there is a pink cast to the whole shot. |

Portrait of President Lincolnby postoakinversionComment: Whilst this is a good photo with nice colours, it doesnt really interest me as it's just a flat-on photo of a coin. It does have good lighting and is technically well done however. |

Ceci n'est pas une bug.by katcocatComment: This definately needs more contrast. The whole photo seems very pale and washed out. Try making it a bit darker and contrasty with Levels in post processing. |

Meditationby graphicfunkComment: The ghostly pink candle in the background is very effective and the lighting is good. I think there is a bit too much empty space on the left though. |

"Maze"by ofirkComment: I like the DoF and the patterns in this are really interesting. Very cool shot. |

Through the Window, Beyond the Sunby myfelixComment: I think this would look better in B&W. The exposure is good though, with detail in the shadows and the highlights. Try using USM very slightly just to sharpen it a tad. |

Know Your Enemyby alien2thisworldComment: The reflection in the top of the pawn is good, but the photo has no blacks or whites which suggests you need to increase the contrast a bit in post processing. Also, use USM to make it sharper as its all a bit soft at the moment. |
