Sorry about my glib comment earlier. Seriously, this is a decent photo with a decent composition. The depth of field does seem shallow for my tastes, though. In many instances, shallow depth of field works well, but in this case I think a deep depth of field would be better. Also, I think I would like to see the black background eliminated (i.e. crop in tighter so that we only see guitar).

IMO, a shot like this should be perfectly horizontal or tilted at a crazy angle. As it is, you are only tilted at a slight angle, and I don't like that. It just looks like you didn't pay attention to details (i.e. looks like you just forgot to straighten it)
