Deep in Utah Countryby myceliumComment: Beautiful tonality and excellent composition. Would have been one of the best of the challenge had the people not been in frame. Great work. |

Divine Lightby hokieComment: I would have liked to see more of your excellent image and less border. In fact a crop just below the diagonal tree in the upper left hand corner would have made the image more powerful. |

What if...by heidaComment: Interesting juxtaposition of delicate looking model in a hard environment, but I do wish there would have been eye contact to convey additional emotional response. Good work. |

Rising Tideby troyloxComment: I love the tonality of the rocks and foreground, but the tilted sky looks artificial (burn tool?). Good work. |

Homemade Pasta Tonight !!!by TommyMoe21Comment: Hey, I have that same pasta maker. I find the included background elements make the image much more interesting, although I would have used free range eggs ;-). Good work. |

Desert Tendrilsby crabappl3Comment: Your wonderful image is my pick for the best of the challenge. Beautifully saturated colors and classic composition. I really like your choice of the square format, which is a seldom used but highly effective communication tool for the presentation of landscapes. I'm pleased at your choice of a simple elegant border that allows us to get the most from your image, instead of adding a large gaudy border. My only negative would be the dust spot? near the top of the frame over the plant, but believe me I got over it quickly. Great work. |

Greenby twm122Comment: You have done an excellent job of photographing an attractive model with engaging features such as catativating eyes and a beautiful smile. The lighting is excellent and the green blouse is very complimentary to her and to the tone of the image. Luckily I have a rotating LCD monitor and I must say that if the image is rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise, with her hands in the upper-right hand corner of the imgage, it becomes a much better image. I realize that might not be what was intended when you took the photo, but sometimes it works out that way. Really nice work, 7. |
