Macro-Day 1by cryanComment: I love the contrast between the red of the bugs & the green of the milkweed. I bit more DOF would have made it better. Nice work. |

Do you take the battery out of your camera when
it's not in use? |
Yes, the battery was on the charger. Like many new D200 owners I'm stuck with jsut the battery that came with the camera, since Nikon can't keep up demand. I imagine the situation won't get any better any time soon with the new D80 using the same battery. |

No, he is quite alive and moving at surprisingly quick speeds for this magnification. |

On Golden Pondby banditComment: Hey, that's one hell of a big pond! I wish the sails were clear of the trees in the background. Great work. |

The Perfect Tkatchevby babylonComment: Great reflexes, you captured the action at the perfect moment. However the high key effect was, IMO, a bit much. I would have rather had some distracting background elements if that is what it would have taken to get a little more tone in the subject. Great work, 6. |

Leaping Into Action!by loriprophotoComment: IT'S A BOy! Sorry, I couldn't help it. Nice capture. Background is slightly blown and somewhat distracting, but I understand that your perspectives were probably limited. Good work. |
