Thankyou Jodie for your score, fave and comment. I am pleased that someone else liked my image other than myself. Thankyou. |

I apologize if I thought you gave a one. Regardless of what you gave...I respect it...! I am not angry with you...but I wanted to explain why I didn't mark it as helpful, as I don't agree with what you wrote. But, that's not to say that I don't respect your opinion. |

Where did the land go?by JudiComment: Originally posted by TIHadi: The volume light is going in too many directions!! The wave should break from behind the girl same direction of the waves. The colors of the sky do not match. poor job of mixing the breaking wave with the clouds above it.
The light on the bird is coming from the wrong direction.

You are so wrong. The entire image except for the mermaid was taken at the same time looking in the same direction. There are 3 images in there...all at different exposures but all from the same spot on the sand and the same time frame. The water splashing was as it shows....not swapped from another side.
The mermaid shot was taken on a rock 5 meters to the left of this one but facing the land. So she was between the land and myself on a rock that is about 6 foot tall. That rock was completely underwater in the splashing shot. but the lighting was the same for all images.
Maybe I don't know how to use PS. But at least I try. You get upset over someone giving you a one...well I think you need to explain to the public why you felt that my image was so poorly done that it only deserved a one.
I personally would like to challenge you to a showdown of the same technique and conditions. Put your money where your mouth is.

Where did the land go?by JudiComment: Originally posted by aerogurl: First of all, this is not a landscape, its a seascape. Its overprocessed and DNMC. It is a beautiful image tho. |
That is your call. There is land within the shot. It is a landscape. But that is my opinion......not yours. I respect your vote of 1, I don't agree with it...but I do respect your choice. |

And such a CUTE photo! |
Cindi followed her punishment to a 'T'. She should be congratulated for that. I won the challenge...and she followed through her punishment like a trooper...! I recognised her image during the challenge and as I said in a PM to her at the time...'she is a good sport and thanks for all the fun that we BOTH had!'
That's what this site is about...good sports..on both sides! And lots of fun! |
