Composition: Composition is good...the viewers eye is directed straight throught the image.

Technical: The technicals have let you down. The choice of the saturated area is quite weak compared to its surroundings.

Overall:I think this is a strong moody image....just not edited strongly enough for the challenge.

Composition: I really like this image. The composition is great and the movement of the ball excellent.

Technical: The choice of desaturation is spot on...the fluoro colour really works well.

Overall: The only thing I can put my finger on is the calibration of some monitors may have shown this image as too dark and a bit too cluttered because of the viewers lack of visibility.

Composition: The composition here is great. No improvements there. The subject is even looking back into the image.

Technical: The heavy contrast/grunge feel is well suited. The over saturation of the eyes has been your downfall...it looks over done and affects your image negatively.

Overall: I would like to see this in straight BW just like the majority of your image already is. This image did not need to have any form of colour for the story to be told.
