On the lakeby BigRComment: the shadows in the FG are distracting. If possible go 2-3 steps forward, into the water (nobody said that photography was a dry sport) and lower, for example to about the same height as the pier. Maybe also to the otherside of the pier to get rid of the shadow under it, but I don't know if the boathouse will be as prominent then. This is in most respects a good shot, but could be better. /7 |

Revenge On Authority ... Got A Match ?by ColeyComment: very nice, good setup and all the factors are there, but for one tiny nag: what leading lines? The only strong leading lines in this photo are the tracks and they are more or less blocked by the girls. To make them a more important part I'd position the girls further away, walking away, on the left track, or to the left of the track, just well enough in focus so you can see what they are and what they are doing. Icing on the cake woud be a train coming around a bend in the tracks.
I really like this photo, but don't see it fitting well enough into the challenge.
You probably already got a lot of comments of this kind, and I predict a 5.5-6 score and quite a few favs. Good luck. |

Middle Laneby NobodyComment: good idea, but could be better composed, and more use made of the lines on the track. maybe one or two steps to the left and lower down? Good luck |
