Natural Camouflageby blemtComment: Wow, now THAT'S wildlife! And too close for comfort too. Pretty cool looking, wish there was a "catchlight" in his eyeball, (or maybe I'm just missing it). |

Soloby scrum8Comment: Good catch with the wings up, I'm jealous! He sort of blends into and out of the background, but a cool shot nonetheless. |

Now that's a mouthfulby DefyTimeComment: Gives me chills to look at him - looks kinda like a fire ant. Background definitely is distracting to me, and wonder what it would have looked like with a lot of it cropped out. |

Giraffeby KaveyComment: Nice color and interesting, but for me, has a "wallpapery" feel to it. Would love to have seen more of the giraffe's "personality"! |

Impressionsby KaDiComment: Compositionally very nice, with wonderful texture and contrasts to feast the eyes on! |

Into the Abyssby jenesisComment: I like the composition setup/angle, but part of the little guy is so fuzzy that it becomes almost un-noticeable, and his head is fading off into the background enough that he doesn't really hold his own in the composition, it's easy to get distracted from him by the sharp difference in the light/dark areas. I would like to have seen more of his head in the light, with a good sharp focus on his beady little eyes so he would really stand out from his surroundings. |

Rainbow Lorikeetsby stormyComment: Absolutely gorgeous birds, their color is wonderful, and they do make for a great subject! I'm probably asking the impossible, but would have liked to have seen a tighter shot, with shallow dof, the entire background is so "busy" that it distracts my eyes considerably. If nothing else, then a tighter crop to make the birds appear to be the main subject rather than a "part of a bigger picture". |
