Edith, the Train's Done Gawnby SkipComment: This one I like very much!! I love the perspective on the tracks, and the whole setting gives a feeling of mystery. I adore the fogginess (ala zeuszen!). |

Polly's First Kissby SkipComment: EEEK, I even hate to review this, because I cannot be entirely fair to you. I STRONGLY dislike photos with plastic toys, and have a difficult time evaluating them for any other good points. However, if that is a real dragonfly, it's quite a nice shot of him! |

Until I Turn Blue (Revisited)by SkipComment: I like the offset angled composition, and the reflections of light in the water, but other than that, this particular photo does not have a lot of impact for me. |

Morning Dewby SkipComment: Even in thumbnail, this one stood out. Looking at it now, I have to say that I love the intention, the composition, the focus, but lighting keeps this from having serious impact. The white petals have so much shadowing on them that the water droplets appear, at times, to be "bumps" or "growths" on the petals. I would love to see this with more dramatic lighting, I think it could be breathtaking. |

Celebrating Sunset, Jockeys Ridge (original portfolio image)by SkipComment: I like this photo very much. The color is lovely and memorable, and the kids look like they are just having a great time. Though the composition works for me, the horizon appears ever so slightly tilted, and the little boy's one-legged look is a little odd. I could also see this cropped in portrait mode, though it would cut out the sun breaking through, which, for me, seems to give the shot some balance. |

Just a wee-bit Closer...by SkipComment: Great perspective, and interesting subject, but background is very distracting to me. The color on the top portion of his body is SO close to the background color that there is just not enough tonal range to really make him stand out, or for the photo to really have impact. |

Keeping a Watchful Eyeby atsxusComment: Though I like this shot, and the composition is different enough to make it interesting, I would really love to see more of his face. Have to admit though that this angle is an unusual perspective and negative space aspect gives it impact. |

I'm not listeningby TLL061Comment: Composition, lighting, and capture of expression are wonderful. It's the kind of shot that really draws you in and makes you wonder what was going on. |

Monkey Seeby kdkaboomComment: Love the b&w definitely, and your capture of such a pensive expression is wonderful. A catchlight in the eyes would have made it superb. |

Go Southby jonrComment: Something about this shot feels "odd" to me, and yet I am drawn to look at it! I love that the body is in good focus, but the wings show movement; a very nice capture. |
