Heavy Metalby tyt2000Comment: This image totally blows me away! From the black and white to the composition to the brilliant use of negative space, this is a winner. I'd give you a 12 if I could.
Back again, sorry, I just can't stop looking at it, I LOVE it! |

Hilltop Cabinby muur88Comment: Love the black and white, of course, and it has good tonal range to make it interesting, but it's the dynamic composition that really makes this for me. The fence leads your eye right into the scene, and the varied lines and angles move your eye throughout the image. |

Lion Eyesby md8speedComment: Very cool, I love the way he is looking right into the camera. Good light too, and I like the nice, tight crop. |

Snow White contemplates autumnby wkmenComment: This is ever so sweet, and I love how she is right there in that opening in the line of trees, it seems to give her presence more power in the composition. This is a photo she is going to love when she gets older, (and I'll bet she loves it now, too!). |

Black on Blueby KylieComment: Looks like a reenactment. Can't wait to find out where it was-I took over 500 shots at one recently. Nice shot of night life at the encampment. Love that you left it a color shot, instead of sepia or b&w, it gives it more of a "chilly night" feel. |

B.Bby Rando D300Comment: Exquisite. I'm certainly not about to offer you any kind of a critique since it is painfully obvious that YOU know what you are doing! |

Fun in the Sunby SDWComment: I have certainly seen, (and taken), many butterfly photos, but I like this one particularly well. The lighting, color, composition all contribute to give this a lovely soft, airy quality, with colors that look old-fashioned, almost hand-tinted. The way the butterfly is hanging off the branch out into the "negative space" area, gives this composition that "something unexpected" that I love to see in photos. Thanks for another favorite! |

synchronized flyingby SailingduckComment: Great catch!! A really cool shot; if I had managed to take a shot like this, it would already be framed and hanging on the wall. Great focus, hope you let us know the particulars, (lens, settings, etc.). |
