Church Doorby jodiecostonComment: An absolutely charming shot, it looks like a church, and if so, I wish I could go there. Lighting, composition, and color all wonderful. One of my favorites this week. |

May The Light Shine On Youby goodtempoComment: Breathtaking in every aspect: color, composition, lighting and subject. One of the top three for sure this week. Congrats on an amazing shot! |

Garden Churchby ShiiizzzamComment: This ties with one other shot for my absolute favorite this week. This shot is just fabulous. The building looks crooked to me, but I'm not sure that it is! The black and white is perfect for this shot, and this building looks absolutely charming. I would SO love to know where this is. I love your composition - I think that I would have taken a tight shot of just the building, leaving out the sidewalk, and I also think that it would have been a mistake to do that!! Adding the sidewalk really gives it a great sense of "place". Congrats, I would hang this on my walls in a heartbeat. |

Abandoned Shedby BAMartinComment: Love the color of the barn. Nice choice of subject; lots of interest with the vines growing all over the place. |

Shades Drawn...by DavenitComment: Absolutely love the window, and the shadows of the branches! Terrific lighting for the shot. The tree trunk ruins it all for me, though! I would love to see a shot of JUST the window and the shadows. Cool idea though. |

Eternally For Saleby alanfreedComment: Unfortunately, this is not very high impact for me, largely because of the soft focus. With all the repeating patterns, as well as the "character" of the peeling paint, I would have loved to see this in sharp focus. The shot does carry a certain air of "old", "decay", and "abandonment". For voting purposes, I am taking into consideration that your camera may not have been capable of a sharper focus. |

Abandonedby RemieComment: I like the tight composition and the look of the old wood and brick - would have loved to see more saturation of the brick color. |

Aunti Em it's a Twisterby TurbotechComment: Got to admit, this made me smile. I love your use of color, but think that the composition could have been a little more dynamic. I also think I would have been very tempted to crop out the wall on the left, giving the shot a more "wide-open space" feel. |
