I don't feel that this is really in the spirit of the "candy" challenge. On it's own - the shot seems to be split in half, with half in focus and half out of focus. The out of focus part looks like it could have been mostly cropped off, and it would have helped the shot. I would have preferred to see a closer up shot to see the bee better.

I like the negative space concept. For me, there is not nearly enough light on the candy - it's so dark that it's barely noticeable. Not crazy about the border- not enough contrast in color, and I don't like the light blue line on just the top and the left side.

Great composition - has almost an abstract feel to it. I really like this much more on my second look. The colors work well, the negative space is a terrific balance against the shadow of the candy.

What a great shot! One of my favorites, this shot is just classic. Doesn't even look "set up"! He looks happy as a clam sitting there with his lollipop. Color, composition, and concept all great.
