DESK PHONEby mzanoniComment: Wow, who'd have thought you could make a phone look so interesting! Very nice lighting and composition. |

Tread Darklyby moodvilleComment: Really like this shot, though it kind of made me laugh. I once did a shot with only one shoe in it, and had comments about wishing both shoes had been in the shot (I only HAD the one shoe!) Anyway - now I know what they were talking about. I really would like to see both boots! I love the way this was done - lighting is great and the composition works well for me, but it just doesn't seem natural to be only seeing 1 boot! |

Lace and graceby fleenkComment: I had to look at this a while to try to distinguish the different textures/things in the shot. Overall, this shot seems to be pretty much all in the same tonal range, making it all kind of "run together". There are a few dark areas in there, but definitely not enough contrast in the shot to suit me. The flower (I think?!) is the only thing that stands out at all for me, and I do like that part of the shot. I would like to have seen this with a stronger oblique light source that maybe would have given it more depth. |

Through the Looking Glassby magnetic9999Comment: This shot works well for meeting the challenge, however is pretty low impact for me. I don't find the subject to be particularly interesting, and I am not crazy about the composition of the subject in the frame. I like that it is off-center, but not the way the lower edge is out of the frame - makes the composition feel somewhat unbalanced for me. I would have much preferred to see it composed so that there was more than one edge out of the frame. |

Majicby rickhd13Comment: This is such a cool shot! Wish I could see more of the eyes!!! I like your composition very much, and of course, the subject. |

Gas Plantby dacrazyrnComment: I really would have liked to have seen this a little closer up, and/or cropped down some. Way too much neg spc for my taste, and also a bit fuzzy. I do love the night scene, and the way the lights of the plant look. |

handsby grigrigirlComment: Nicely done for the challenge. Composition works, and the lighting is nice, however kind of "low impact" for me. |

Toilby jerrftComment: Indeed, an interesting shot. The lighting is what really makes this photo work for me. I love the way the subject "fades" in and out of the dark areas, kind of making your mind fill in the blank areas. The composition is very nice, and the texture of your subject adds a wonderful dimension to the shot. |

Shadesby marcoComment: I like the concept, but everything is just a bit too fuzzy for my taste. I would like to be able to discern a little more of what I am looking at. Love the shades of black/grey, and interesting composition. |

The Key To Lifeby TarbiniComment: This is the first photo that I got on the vote page, and I really like it! Composition works pretty well for me, though maybe just a bit too much neg spc on the left side - but it doesn't bother me that much; lighting is nice-gives it kind of a mysterious feel. I love your choice of subject. |
