I don't usually comment til the end of the week, if I have the time, but had to comment on this right away. This is absolutely one of my favorites this week! Great DOF, the black and white is perfect for it, your composition works so well, and his expression is wonderful! Some peeps will probably "slam" you for the soft focus, but that's what really makes this shot for me. Heck, I'd hang it on MY wall, and I don't even know the handsome young man! Great work! 10

I can barely make out a few pixels that are a TINY bit lighter than the black. Basically this is just a black box, as I see it. Not much impact visually for me!

Very mysterious feel to this. I like the composition, and the lighting on your subject. There's just enough light to see the main part of the subject, but your eyes keep looking at the "not so well lit" parts to try to discern more.

I love this shot. Don't know about black on black, but definitely low-key. Just enough contrast to get a feel for her face, but dark enough to still be kind of soft, moody, and mysterious. Definitely a lovely shot.

Very nice, with lots of "mood", and I really like a nice "contrasty" type of shot. I'm not sure about the black on black thing, but nevertheless, like this shot quite well.
