Or Monet for painting water lily after water lily. Surely it is the quality of the picture, the composition, color, clarity, framing, etc. that should count. Originality might be worth 1 point in a particular challenge if there are many of a similar shot, but that's about all.

I agree with you larushka! The comment is small-minded and shortsighted. The image here is excellent. It's a good concept that was very well executed. In addition, the photographer was kind enough to share how he did it, so that others could learn from him. I appreciate both the image and the open attitude of this photographer.

This makes me laugh, because I know that MY focus would have been on the cotton candy, NOT the game! I like the perception of action about to take place, and that, though it is clearly missed focus, you can still see what's going on. 7

I love the water droplets, they give it kind of a fairy-like feel. The colors are beautiful, and if you take a hit for anything I think it will be that the focus is very, very soft. 7

This appears to me to be not so much a "missed focus" as more of a zoom-blur kind of effect, which to me is something quite different. I find it to be quite "busy" and distracting, and don't care for the quite centered composition.

Blurry line

Image (?) is oddly small, and has no real point of interest. I can make out that there is a line there, but it offers me nothing - no story, nothing of interest.
