Snail on dead leafby chariotComment: very nice--love the lighting and the DOF that really brings the snail and leaf into perspective. I also like the symmetry between the lines on the snail and the lines on the leaf. good eye and good job! |

Andrew at the Zooby phreebyrdComment: taking pictures in direct sunlight is hard--way too many 'hot spots'. i might have focused more on andrew, and since he is relatively level with the fence, used that as a background so you could see the water and animals in the picture. |

After the fight...by albright1Comment: i like the framing of this picture, but i'm not fond of the flash bouncing off of his skin. not only does it look hot in places, it makes him look sallow--almost jaundiced. Maybe a fill would have worked here? |
