when i first saw this picture, i was listening to jeff buckley--and not only did the ghostly beauty of the image give me pause; all i could think about was one of the articles after his death--where a bandmate talked about how he just walked into the river and never walked out. this picture gave/gives me a haunting, almost surreal visual of that.
