This is a beautiful portrait. The connection to the challenge is a little weak, but the quality of the shot makes up for it. I love the way the background compliments her hair perfectly. My only picky point is the black cord around her neck. It would have been better if that were a necklace that didn't leave the frame. Lovely. Good luck. 9.

Simple classic approach is nice. I think I would have liked a bit more light and sharp focus rather than the shadowy emotive approach for this particular object, but a good shot and good interpretation.
