I really like what you've done. Thanks for listing all the steps, too.

That's a classic cat portrait, very nicely done. However, if there was some way to have it with the cat's eyes with pupils dilated, people who don't especially like cats wouldn't feel the heeby-jeebies. ;>þ

Really good portrait. Is the background real or just a backdrop?

I missed this one in voting. I think it's great. I can see why you had a hard time choosing between this and your other one, but I think you made the right choice - the diver just hanging there in suspension makes it a little more special. ;>þ

Wonderful pose for the budgie. When I was a kid, I had two budgies, Napoleon and Josephine. After Napoleon fell off the perch, Josie went to my great aunts up in Sydney.

I like the surrealistic attitude you're taken. I think this could be a ribbon-winner (of all the entries I've seen so faar).

This was a challenge I couldn't bear to vote on. So if I had come to this one, I'd see it is a superb surrealistic photo, but does it meet the challenge as set? I guess so, and the result speaks for itself. Congratulations. Will promptly add to faves. ;>þ

You're getting really good at that tone mapping. The difference between this and the original is phenomenal. Congratulations on 4th place, Bear.

Yes, having the dog out of focus is the right touch; however, it would be even better if the can was more in focus and the letters were sharper.

It also reminds me of the time our labrador got into the loungeroom and ate the spongecake that was there for the girl guides to pick up. (Now who was it that might have left the door open? ... Well, I was only young.)
