A Home Near The Riverby genghisComment: I love the lines and the way you framed this. My nit pick would be that without the title, I wouldn't have known it's a house. |

The Great Depressionby arcticComment: I would have gone with a title relating to the stock market crash instead, because I associate the '30s more with the Depression... in any case, the extreme narrow depth of field is distracting. I would have liked to have seen the whole penny in focus. Great idea, though, and the background choice complements the copper well. 7 |

Recess Rules!by debitiptonComment: Here's the obligatory "I'm surprised this didn't do better" comment. I really, really liked this shot. It's fun, spontaneous, and has great color & composition. |

... in poor taste ...by basia03Comment: yes, yes it is! This hurts to look at! Seriously, the gem thing looks just a tad out of focus, but I like the composition and the idea behind this... I just don't like looking at it! |

Backyardby rameviComment: I like this a lot. It's very evocative & well-composed, but I wonder if I'd like it better in full color. I guess I understand the reason behind the selective desat - to emphasize the squalor of the building. But for me, it's emphasizing the grass more - I find I'm looking at it more than anything. 7 |

Tired of School!by nruterComment: Very clear photo & perfect tones. I'm sure you're getting a lot of comments on the wrinkled backdrop, but you live, you learn, eh? But your model is adorable and more than makes up for the background. Great job! |
