Ashen Bouquetby wkoffelComment: The high contrast ratio makes the dry roses look like rotting roses. a little fill light would help. 4

Wild Horse Passby PDavisComment: the water is a little blown out. Try a ND-9 filter for long exposure daytime shots. 6

A world already in Black and Whiteby orvaratliComment: The noise takes this image down a bit. I know your situation. I you remove the noise, you would remove the stars. Neat Image can remove noise in low tonal ranges. There is also a way to do this in lab color. You could also rase the setting on your jpg compressor to reduce the artifacts in the sky. 5 because of the noise.

Moody Cloudsby thatbillguyComment: The white sky could be lifted up to white. As it is, it blends into the DPC background. Also the trees lack detail and sharpness. 4

Life in monoby johnmComment: shortening the exposure time by half would hive this image the sharpness that is missing. also i would like to see a bit more black in the sky. 5

Study of a Roseby biggood53Comment: I would like to see more black in the background, and I do not care for the center composition in this image. Good tonal control. 6 |
