Who knows - time will tell but the texture is applied over the background - you don't have to apply texture to the entire image and it doesn't have to be applied at 100% either. The background is underneath the texture -I appreciate your comments though. I'm new to the community but enjoying it. Thanks for the feedback.

Actually that is the discoloration of the feather. The background is a texture - but I guess it will be up to the rules people. I like the shot and thanks for your comments.
