Week 9by chris48083Comment: Great place for it. This is the kind of photo I like: unposed, interesting. It draws you in and makes you feel a part of the scene. Nice job :)

Week 10 - Fenceby hajekaComment: I love the texture and the interest of the different shapes crossing over each other. It is an appealing abstract for sure -- perfect in black and white. |

Fisherman (b&w 2008 #6)by nikolaosComment: Yes, I agree: the photo is awesome. It makes me want to escape there! But I keep wanting to straighten it out. I have a phobia about tilted horizons and such because I've gotten a few in my earlier days slammed BIG TIME for it. So now, I'm so ultra careful about it that its one of the first thing I notice in photos.
But I do love the photo!

Lead Dogs - WK09by DJWoodwardComment: Oh wow! What a cool photo. Look at the DRIVEN look in those dogs' eyes. Man, they are IN their element, aren't they? And you have captured it beautifully!

Not My Petby tnunComment: Whoa! He looks fierce! What a capture! But somehow, I have a feeling he is a big softie on the inside once you get that look off his face :)

snowflakeby jdannelsComment: I love the high contrast! For me, it suits the mood of this photo beautifully. It makes me want to know more about her. She has a strongly photogenic face. The kind that shows character, and that you remember for a long time when the photo isn't right in front of her.
And Jutilda and I were talking yesterday about how much class that type of framing adds to photos :) Awesome job all the way around!

Week 10: Kimberby WalesPComment: Kimber is so pretty. I love how you have captured her attitude and the pretty highlights in her hair. You really connect with her looking at this photo.
I have one of those 50mm lenses. I love it too -- but I don't use it much for portraits because I have a hard time getting enough of the photo in focus.

Tracks to Nowhereby trevytrevComment: Trevor! I LOVE this photo! LOVE IT! I love the lines that lead into the snowy distance, and the crisp detailed texture in the snow coming down. Way to GO! Totally awesome!

Holding up the lightby AliciaComment: This is nice too, but I think my preference would be the clean, crisp pure black and white one. There's something dramatic about the sharp contrasts of black and white in that one. But this one does have a nice touch of glam :)
