Ready For A Shave (Morning #36,167, Shave #29,601)by choltmeierComment: Ohhh Ohhhh THANK YOU for sharing this whole story. I had noticed the beautiful Intimcacy photo first, then was heartbroken to read that he was facing life without her. I guess some love really does become "one", and when you sever half of it, it's like cutting a rose off the vine. I trust they are dancing in Heaven together with all of eternity to look forward to.
Oh, and the photo of his hands is just fabulous!
Boy. . . that'll teach you to win a ribbon and show the world your beautiful portfolio. :) Ok, I'll shut up now.

Mistby choltmeierComment: A-MAZING! Those ethereal blues against that flawless silhouette. This photo is AWESOME! If it were me doling out scores, this one would have gotten the score your commenters gave you! 7.6 is much more worthy than 6.56 :)

Fiddler on the Streetby choltmeierComment: Wow! My only surprise is that so far you have only won one ribbon. You have so many fabulous photos in your collection! This is one of the coolest environmental portraits I've seen. I love the edgy urban setting, and the beautiful way you have processed it.

Enchantedby MelethiaComment: OMG Deb!!! Ok. Now its confirmed. I haven't even been uploading photos to my portfolio on dpc because for the last year or two, I've noticed that unless you are in a side challenge NO ONE comments on newly uploaded photos -- no matter how good they are. This one proves it.
This is one of the most beautiful forrest photos I've ever seen. The fog enhances it. I think if you could have seen Rudesheim, it wouldn't have been near as dramatic and beautiful.
WOW! This is going straight to my favorites. . . matter of fact. . .why don't you put it in dpc prints. I will buy it, and I'm SERIOUS!
ps: If you put it up for prints, autograph it, okay? Message edited by author 2008-10-25 09:56:08. |

Another Dimension by StructorComment: Gasp! THIS is FABULOUS! I could stare at it for hours. Congratulations on the ribbon, but even more on such striking photography that will be meaningful and impressive long after the challenge has gone away.
