the shiningby bladComment: How striking! My favorite hotel to photograph in Estes Park is the one that inspired Stephen King to write the Shining when he got stranded there one New Year's Eve. This one actually fits the part even more than the real one :) Kudos to you for such exquisite lighting. Perfect detail in all the parts, and not a trace of over-exposure in the lights. You are THE BOMB!

Paradiseby boyd2000Comment: Ohmy! Ohmy! You are indeed in Paradise. Lucky I'm in Texas, and the weather here is gorgeous this time of year. I feel bad for the guys sick of winter, tired of snow and cold weather who have to see this stunning photo :)
The color of the water is amazing. I've seen water that color on occasion, but it certainly is rare to see it where I live. Mostly when I'm on vacation in paradise :)

Breaking and Enteringby KelliComment: Awwww! What a great photo, Kelli! He looks like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar before dinner. I know farmers must hate the deer eating their crops, but being the psycho animal lover that I am, I find myself wanting this poor little fellow to get in so he can have an apple, bless is heart! Course, it looks like he'd be major disappointed anyway, since the apples haven't bloomed yet :)

Portrait of a Robber Flyby rozComment: Roz! I am totally out of superlatives to make an impact on what I think of your macro work. It is beyond words. What an honor to finish in 12th place in a challenge with 1,113 submissions. You are in a league all by yourself. Although, I have been quite amazed by Greg's work too lately :) The 2 of you are most definitely the finest macro photographers on the planet!
Congratulations my friend! You are freaking AMAZING! |

Tby Rando D300Comment: This one was yours? I should have guessed. Your ability to capture the soul of animals is unsurpassed! Its amazing the connection you feel when you look at this. But the technical quality is amazing. I swear that krinkled up nose is popping out of my computer screen! |
