7-may 09 overlays. thirlmere railway museumby rozComment: Oh man! I was wondering what I missed in the couple of days I hadn't had time to post. You certainly keep a girl from being disappointed in the "Wow" factor!
I feel like such a baby at this! Dang, you are good! :)

Airborneby stargazer05766Comment: Oh no!!! I am so sorry! I'm sending you and Molly a big hug too! I know its "a challenge" to stay in the rules -- but sometimes -- the restrictive rules just keep us from being able to make our photos the best they can be! This is so amazing -- and you will treasure it forever. Long after the challenge is forgotten. I think I woul rather have a photo exactly like this of my beloved "furry child" than a high placing in a challenge anyway.
Congratulations on this AMAZING photo of Molly!

National Leapfrog Championsby LydiaComment: I wondered if this might be yours. Your frog photography is becoming quite legendary! And, well, I so apologize for calling your award giving little creatures the *u* word. Sitting here in 6th place in perfect form, their beauty is actually growing on me. Your magic touch certainly knows how to make them so! MEGA CONGRATULATIONS on front page honors with your creatures of noble character :)

The hunter ascends by purpleflutterby13Comment: CONGRATULATIONS! This is such an amazing photo. We don't have any places like that here where birds fly around for trainers. I wish we did. I'm so happy for your winning your first ribbon! Keep taking shots like this, and I have no doubt it is the first of MANY! :)

And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings by vawendyComment: Wendy, as you might have guessed by my comment, this was my favorite in this challenge. It is flawless perfection, having not one single thing about it that could have made it better, including just overall eye appeal. Congratulations on your most-deserved ribbon!

Ready for Touchdownby BrianRComment: This is really great, Brian! Mine took a serious nosedive on the last day too! I even made a comment about that in the scoring thread. It seems that every single time I have a high scoring photo, it nosedives on the last day -- and I'm noticing alot of other people saying the same thing. Makes you wonder, doesn't it! My guess is your one 2 and your three 3's were doled out on the last day. Sorry -- it deserves to be much higher than it finished!

- FLIGHT of the HUNTER - by andrewtComment: I had a feeling when I saw this in the challenge that it might be a ribbon contender. And I think the ever-so-slight blur of the wings adds to the feel of motion making it even more effective than if they had been perfectly tack sharp. And wow! What a score! Alot of people get lucky and get personal bests -- but to get a personal best when your highest rated photo is a 7.9+ WOW! You are becoming legendary :) And deservingly so, I might add! Congratulations!!

Skimmingby MelethiaComment: :) Every photo that looked like it had pigeons in it, I thought might be yours. No one puts soul in pigeon photography like you do. I very much liked this one in the challenge. I liked it that your perspective was looking down on this guy flying so close to the water. I try to get those shots at the park all the time, but am rarely able to pull them off to where you get such clear detail in the wings and features!
