I also think part of the low score in candlelight is because they were being very narrow about wanting to see a candle (which was dumb, but the voters can be very narrow minded about challenge interpretation). This is beautiful! I think I would have given this at least an 8 or 9, only missing a 10 in my book because the low light makes it a tiny bit soft. It is beautiful!!

This is just amazing! Again, the only thing to me that keeps this from being a "Librodo" type portrait is that I think it needs more light so the shutter could be faster, and make it a little less soft. It's such a beautiful composition! Your family is fantastic at modelling!

This is awesome. I can see why she likes it so much. The only thing I would have done differently is to crop it so that she wasn't quite so centered. maybe a little more space on the left -- and a little less on the right. I've read a lot of dpc comments and notice the voters are pretty picky about that rule of thirds thing, and the un-centered composition. But I love the candid, unposed look of this. It does look like she's on a big cliff :)

This is just beautiful. Candid, simple. I am one who loves the close crops -- cropped down just enough to say what you want to say. This is nice and sharp, crisp colors. I think its a real winner!
