Well as far as flower macros go this is one of the best; technically brilliant. Unfortunately it doesn't exactly break the mould, or do anything to excite me. Oh well, for sheer technical skill it's an 8.

Sorry but the impact of this photo is the dog, not the yellow. Now that is a tremendously cute dog, but the image as a whole has a bit of a snapshot feel to it, next time I'd try and get a little closer to the dog. I'm not a huge fan of animal shots, but you've definately got yourself a good subject here if you are that way inclined.

This works well in black and white... though I do think Angrimur's shot of this subject in colour worked slightly better. If in fact you are Angrimur please disregard this comment :P. The moon definately adds another element, though there may be too much empty space at the top. 6

I think this shot would perhaps benefit from a little less water in the foreground... also it seems a little flat - needs a little something more.

The black and white contrast here is surprisingly effective, a glance at the thumbnail doesn't exactly enthuse here, but the actual shot is really quite effective. 7.
