I really like the composition here, the centered ladybug works very well and there's some nice detail here. Too bad it's underexposed (by about 1.5 stops) Next time open up the shutter a bit more and let some more light shine through

There are so many neat things you can do with the reflection in that apple. set up some red apples in the background and position the glass one just right so it reflects several other apples... Get creative!

In my opinion, this is the best portrait of the challenge. The tone is great, the expression is good, There's emotion in the image, and the textures are great! The total package is awesome!

Keep the shoes for the orange challenge!!!! very cute and interesting idea. I would lose the black pants and go for bare legs or something lighter. Very good. 7... no 8!

Strong Lines

The lines are strong, yes. I'm not particularly fond of this photo, not because it's of an american flag but because technically it can be a lot better. The colours are dark and flat, maybe the photo was under exposed? The entire image has a blue cast to it.. which might be fixable with photoshop. This image could potentially be very good if it weren't for the technical problems holding it back. 4

American lines

This has got to be one of the more creative approaches to a flag shot. I"ll give you that much. While it's still a flag shot and I think they're a controversial subject there are some things I dont like about it. The right half of your picture is nice and bright while the left half of your picture is dark and flat.
