forgive me for being dense, but i'm not sure how this meets the challenge. it seems to be more of a macro shot than a miniature, but maybe that's my problem. the lighting is a little strong, and the shadow at the bottom is distracting. it might help to rotate the image so that the line from top to bottom is either parallel to the border, or more of a diagonal.

forgive me for being dense, but i'm not sure how this meets the challenge. maybe i just don't get it, but what i'm seeing seems like it would fit a challenge called 'oversized'. all the same, it's a nice shot. could probably use a little more contrast between the girl and the tree (maybe if shot from the other side of the chair?).

forgive me for being dense, but i'm not sure how this meets the challenge. from my perspective, those are real boats that are far away, not miniature boats photographed in a context to show me that they are a smaller version of a real boat. oh, well, maybe it's just me. nice shot, love the colors.

yes, i'll give you that yellow jackets are extremely annoying (last summer, i stepped in a nest and took 25 stings). even as this is a clever idea, i'm having a hard time giving it points for 'miniature.' but what the hey, i can be dense. wish it had a little more dof and that the bugs weren't so centered.

is that a toy boat, or a real boat far away? if it is a real boat, then i'd have a hard time calling it a miniature. now, if you had a real toy boat floating by in the foreground, that would be a completely different story. lovely colors, could use a little sharpening.
