Wise Old Owlby SonifoComment: simply beautiful. would like the image more if it wasn't so tightly cropped on the bottom. one of my top picks for the challenge. |

Fawn in Fogby ubiquitousComment: great capture. you really got lucky. i'm guessing handheld, iso 800, f5, at 1/40, shot around 7am. and i'm also guessing you didn't have too many shots to pick from. way to capture the moment! |

King of the Cornby Judith PolakoffComment: great job, wonderful capture. don't like the border. i like the composition and how you've captured the moment, but would probably like it more if it wasn't so tightly cropped. |

Which Way Did He Go?by GolferDDSComment: cute little guys, probably enjoying the shade, away from the harsh sun. it's those blowouts that really take away from this image, and that's too bad. |

From the Depthsby kennytComment: on one hand, i know taking fish shots is not an automatic. on the other hand, for a fish shot to really work, you need lots of color and really sharp focus on everything, including the leafy green stuff. this image comes across grainy, oversharpened, and suffering from bad lighting. |

Giraffeby KaveyComment: this would probably be more interesting to me if the focus was a little sharper. i also don't think the border does anything for the presentation. |

Resting Kangaroosby HeavyComment: i wonder if you could have gotten a more interesting shot if you had zoomed in on one of their faces for a real close up? as is, i see two roos laying on the ground at midday...not much more than a snapshot. if you aren't getting the scores you want, try different angles and approaches to the same shot. this might have come out better if you had gotten down on their level. |

foggy froggyby mizz_kt_bugComment: well, at least there is a living animal in the image. however, the image quality is extremely poor. i don't know what the shooting conditions were, but you would probably score higher without the foggy, blurry appearance. |

Impressionsby KaDiComment: too bad you couldn't have been there earlier, when the track was being made, or later, when it came back...
as for the image, it looks like it was taken a little late in the day to get good lighting. although your tie to the challenge is the footprint, it doesn't jump right out at you. i would have thought this was an image of leaves. to score well, you really need to meet the challenge dead on. |

Pure Growthby camiloComment: flowers work on my wife when i make a mistake, but they don't tend to do to well at dpc when their connection to the challenge doesn't hit you over the head. |
